Alba Iulia is the town where you can meet all of the history of the romanians. It was founded by the romans at the beginning of the II century AD. Alba Iulia has the largest fortress from Romania, with a surface of 110 hectares. Inside we can see many museums:

  History

   The citadel is built in vauban style, in star shape, with 7 bastions, 6 ravelines and 6 gates for acces. The citadel was built between 1715 - 1738.
